DR. SE J. WON
Candidate for Executive Director of Missions
After prayer, discernment, and an extensive search process, the GCA Executive Board is grateful to introduce Dr. Se J. Won as the recommended candidate for GCA’s next Executive Director of Missions.
BIOGRAPHY
A HUSBAND, A FATHER, A SERVANT LEADER
Dr. Se J. Won has devoted more than 25 years to nonprofit leadership and mission operations. He has served GCA for 14 years, as Associate Director of Missions and, since 2025, as Director of Mission Operations. Throughout his ministry, Se J has served churches, pastors, and mission partners by strengthening the systems, relationships, and structures that support gospel-centered ministry. His GCA leadership projects include the Great Commission Training Institute, Building Healthy Churches Initiative, Achievement Funding, Pastoral care, and associational prayer efforts.

He also brings a pastoral heart and experience as a founding pastor of a local church and as a regional Contextualized Leadership Development (CLD) director. He brings a missional heart from his extensive international engagement establishing partnerships across Asia, the Middle East, and other cross-cultural contexts.
